Friend and Auburn alum Natalie and I made a trip to The American Store in Madrid yesterday, seeking Betty Crocker cake mixes, boxed macaroni and cheese, and, most importantly, Dr Pepper. I am currently happily sipping my most missed beverage (besides Lulu's frozen cadillac margarita with a granma floater and an extra slice of lime), smelling a devil's food cake slowly bake. YUM! Tastes like home!

Dr Pepper is indeed great. When I took a cab from a bus station in Nairobi (at 4 in the morning, ugh) when I told the driver I was Canadian he told me his favourite drink was Canada Dry but he couldn't find it anymore. I told him I'd speak with my government, but I said it in Swahili and I hope he got the joke.
